The Olympia Farmers Market is located at the North end of Capital Way in downtown Olympia.  They have over 140 local vendors of various produce, baked goods and crafts.  Not all the vendors are there every day, but lots are, including us. 

    One of the special things about the Farmers Market is that every one of the vendors is required to grow, make, or produce the goods that they sell.  This differs from markets such as the Pike Place Market in Seattle, WA  which is largely a Public Market.

    All the produce at the Olympia Farmers Market is Washington grown and in several cases you're actually talking to the farmers themselves.  They also have a wide variety of nursery products for inside and outside your home.  There are several bakers, butchers, fish and oyster vendors, and more.

    There are lots of local artist and crafters there as well.  There is something there for everyone. 

 There are other things besides shopping to do as well, like:

• Have some coffee.
• Listen to local musicians and entertainers.
• The kids can get balloon animals and get their faces painted.
• Relax in the garden area.
• We have 7 different restaurants to choose from and a large food court in front of the stage

• The Restaurants include:

1. Los Tulanos -  Authentic Mexican food.
2. Carlotta's - Italian Cuisine.
3. Soba - Japanese and other Asian delights.
4. Hey Day Cafe - Gourmet Coffee and Bagel Sandwiches.
5. Bavarian Wurst - A Variety of Sausages and everything else.
6. Dingy's - Prime Rib Sandwiches.
7. Curry in a Hurry - Indian Cuisine

The Market is open from April to December.

April-October:  Thursday through Sunday,  10:00a.m.-3:00 p.m.

November-December:  Saturday and Sunday,  10:00a.m.-3:00p.m.
